Biography

Passed MBBS in 1986 and MD in Dermatology & Venereology in 1994 Awarded Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in 1995 Engaged in practice in the field of Dermatology since 1994. Working now as Consultant in Calcutta Skin Institute & Institute of Allergic & Immunologic Skin Diseases in Kolkata Worked as reviewer of Indian Journal of Dermatology Venereology & Leprology (IJDVL) and Indian Journal of Dermatology (IJD) Co –authored a chapter in the IADVL (Indian Association of Dermatologist, Venereologist and Leprologist)Textbook of Dermatology for 3rd and 4th edition Authored a chapter in a book ‘Recent Advance in Dermatology’ volume 1. Worked as one of the editors in ‘Recent Advance in Dermatology’ volume 1 and 2. Having special interest in the field of Contact Dermatitis and Phototherapy Attended several conferences in country and abroad and presented papers in national level Published a number of papers in various peer- reviewed journals Passionate in still photography
